1992 Awarded the Eduard-Rhein Foundation’s 1992 Technology Award for the conception and development of the PhotoCD system

1996 Awarded the Progress Medal, the highest award of the Photographic Society of America for contributions to the photographic industry.

1995 Spearheaded the formation of the Digital Image Marketing Association (DIMA) by PMA and became its inaugural president. DIMA has become the preeminent association dedicated to the development and marketing of electronic imaging in virtually all business categories.
